On May 8th, 2012 I lost my boyfriend of two years. Shawn was not only my boyfriend; he was also my best friend. Anyone that knew us knew we were inseparable. Shawn was a beautiful person inside and out. He was the most caring individual I have ever known. Even on the worst of days, he knew how to bring a smile to my face. He made me feel beautiful, special, and loved in a way I never believed was possible. In the end, at just 20 years old, Shawn lost to his unrelenting battle with addiction. People say time heals; however, I do not believe the emptiness in my heart will ever be completely filled. I love and miss you so much Shawn ♥ Guide me well. You’re my angel now.
