Thank you. I hope you read my inspiration to her. Her lungs failed after battling with alzheimers.I saw her for years declining, When she died she was still in her bed. She looked sleep.I layed with her for about 2 hours until they got her.I was so destroyed and I'm now trying to do positive things and talk about it more so that I can heal.
Thank you for responding. I don't know how to even begin with this. I found this sight because my family posted a memorial to my mom. I figured that someone might understand what I am feeling, half the time I don't even know how I am feeling.
Hey it's Bernadette. Thank you for taking the time to reply. For that I'm truely grateful. I too am a Roman Catholic. And yes my mother's ashes sits in a box under the table, because when time and money allows it my grandfather will bring her ashes to Florida and spread her ashes half on Hollywood Beach and half in the Atlantic Ocean. His objective is to get her there and spread before her next birthday in February of 09. However, until then she lies in wait and seeing what an oven did to her makes me both SICK and MAD. Also her husband whom she left behind is very cold in terms of how he's acting since she passed. I question if it even made any difference at all to him. The next day after her service at 6am he's opening the cards and taking out all the money in them. Not offering anything to my brother, my sister or I. My mom was also a city worker in Philly where we live. She was a crossing guard, however he claims my mom only has a 12,000 life insurance policy. And we will all recieve 1400, my sister, brother and I. Of course minus any money we may owe him. My mom was a helping hand to me anyway I needed. I am in school until March 3rd when I graduate Pharmacy Tech. I also am a single parent of my BEAUTIFUL 8 mo. old daughter,so my mom helped me out ALOT. Now that he's in charge of everything now my stepdad won't help me at all. If there are dishes in the sink he will do all of them EXCEPT my babies bottles. He also will use my foodstamps to by groceries, but if I need any cash he's never able to help. I just don't get him and I know my mom would want him to help me until I got on my feet. And he has the means to help he's worked at Family Court since age 19 and he's 53 going on 54 in May.

Hi, Carlo! We wanted to let you know that one of your quotes is today's Daily Inspiration:
"We just have to take a look at ourselves, see that there is comfort and solace at the turn of every corner, for we are all here to heal each other as best we can."
