My sister passed away recently. She suffered over 20 yrs. w/Parkinson's & a hiatal hernia. She also suffered a mini-stroke in Nov. of last year.
She leaves one surviving grown daughter, 3 grandchildren & 3 brothers and one sister(myself).  She postponed her hernia surgery & it caused her death as half of her stomach twisted & moved into her chest. She was immed. brought to the hospital. The original surgery was scheduled for a late time on a Friday night. The surgeon postponed it. The next morning she aspirated & was put on Life Support. She was 73 & it was determined she couldn't make it thru surgery because she had detoriated. A new group of surgeons was brought in. Their assessment for a normal life was not optimistic. My sister did not want to live hooked up to machines. It was extremely hard to take her Life Support. She lasted one week after that. We buried my sister on Saturday, Feb 25th. I know she's gone & is home at last. I just miss her so much. It hurts so bad. I love her so much & she leaves a huge void in so many people's lives. Although she was not in the best of health, she always helped others. Her Faith was so important to her I know she must be in Heaven. I love you, Sister
Jo
