Rhonda, sorry it has taken me so long to respond,,yes my beaufiful son Adam Ryan McIntosh was murdered June 11th, 2006,,he was 25 yrs old, a master mechanic and owned his own home,,,doing great,,,,loved drag racing and building fast engines for his friends,,,his hobby was racing at the tracks and was also a king in street racing,,,,,they would meet up in the wee hours of the night and place bets on the cars,,where they raced endangered nobody,,,it was just a sport,,,he was addicted to racing his car ,,,a trouble maker in a gang came through spinning rocks,,,on the cars,,,the kids all yelled at him,,,he came back with three other trouble makers and filled my son full of bullets,,,,my sons heart stopped 12 times on the operating table,,,as they tried for three hours to mend his bullet torn body,,,Adam was adorable and loved by everyone,,,,would never harm anyone,,,I am haunted by his pain when he realized someone was shooting at him,,,and he could not get away,,,and his pain when he called out for me and I could not get to him in time,,,my son died 6/11 at 6:11 a.m. exactly,,,i looked up his name in the bible in genesys,,,it says,,,chapter 6 verse 11 ..."and God Saw the world was full of violence" we have started a scholarship in Adams name for Mechanics,,,at his college he attended,,,,we also hold a big drag race every year for all his friends,,,,the street racers race the track racers,,,in our sons memory,,,,its hard for me to do this race,,,but to see the faces of his friends when my husband races my sons camaro down the dragstrip brings joy to me,,,,

Sorry, wasn't finished typing before I hit send. Anyway...your profile touched me. I am so sorry for your loss. If it's okay I would like to hear more of your story. It helps just knowing there are others who have experienced similar loses.

Dear Adam's Mom, I can't help but assume your son must have been murdered. I lost a son also. He was not murdered but my dad was. It has been difficult for me to be able to talk about these loses because I have found that it makes people uncomfortable, they don't know what to say, so I tend try and make them feel better by avoiding talking about it.
My son Matt, was 14 yrs. old when he was hit by a train. Matt was deaf. He took a short cut home on the tracks. He never heard it coming. My dad was brutally stabbed to death and robbed just a couple of years before my son died.
