Here at Legacy.com, the many men and women who die of breast cancer each year are always remembered. Whether it's through the hundreds of obituaries we publish every month for people who died from breast cancer, or from our own memories of family members and friends who fought the disease, there's no doubt that breast cancer awareness is an integral part of our work.

Today, as Breast Cancer Awareness Month begins, we unveil a unique way to remember all those whose lives were affected by this disease: our new Breast Cancer Memorial Site. This site includes tens of thousands of obituaries for those who battled breast cancer or joined in the search for a cure.

Unfortunately, more obituaries are being added to this site every day. We look forward to a time when the number of new obituaries for breast cancer victims slows to a trickle… and finally stops. On that day, we'll know the goal of Breast Cancer Awareness has been met.
